Gentle, proactive care to help your smile thrive.

Preventative Care

At our office, we believe great dentistry goes beyond treating teeth—it’s about supporting your total health. Research continues to show the strong connection between a healthy mouth and a healthy body. That’s why our doctors take a proactive, comprehensive approach to care, identifying early warning signs and risk factors before they turn into more serious issues. Our goal is to help you maintain a confident, healthy smile and overall well-being for life.

Helping You Maintain a Healthy Smile

From your very first visit, you’ll notice our doctors’ commitment to thorough, personalized care. During your comprehensive exam, we take time to truly understand your dental health. Our knowledgeable team emphasizes patient education—providing clear explanations, helpful tips, and the tools you need to make informed decisions about your oral care.

What’s Included in a Comprehensive Exam

Examination

Your appointment begins with a detailed evaluation of your teeth, gums, bite, and jaw joint. Our doctors also perform an oral cancer screening to ensure every aspect of your dental health is carefully assessed.

Imaging

If you have recent x-rays, we can request copies from your previous dentist. Otherwise, we’ll take new digital x-rays and photos right here in our office. These images, along with AACD-recommended photographs, help our doctors provide the most complete and accurate assessment possible.

Diagnosis & Risk Factors

After reviewing your images and exam findings, our doctors will discuss any conditions present and evaluate your risk for issues such as tooth decay, gum disease, or bite imbalance. You’ll receive personalized guidance and preventive recommendations to help you protect your smile long-term.
